Description:
Aptiv is hiring an ADAS Software Integrator to drive its Software Integration Strategy across Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and vehicle user experience components. In this role, you will build software, perform software configuration management tasks, deploy standardized Continuous Integration (CI) toolchains, and construct automated test frameworks. You will validate diagnostic IDs, trouble codes, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments, bridging the gap between raw compiler verification outputs and cross-functional software manufacturing release deadlines.
Key Technologies:
C, C++, Python, Git, Gerrit, Plastic, Jenkins, Cloudbees, CANoe, Trace32, Lauterbach, Coverity, Bazel, Make, CMake, HIL Testing, CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Jira, Confluence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Systems, Computer Science, Software, Computer, or a related field of study).
- 5+ years of dedicated professional experience inside the automotive electronic control unit (ECU) software industry.
- Robust familiarity with version control architectures and continuous tracking platforms such as Git, Gerrit, or Plastic SCM (branching, code merges, trunk management).
- Practical programming skills using C, C++, and Python to write test automation tools, parsing utilities, or script build environments.
- Familiarity with build orchestration automation frameworks like Bazel, Make, or CMake. Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Cloudbees.
- Experience installing, configuring, and executing software debugging using specialized automotive validation tools like CANoe, Trace32, Coverity static analysis, and Lauterbach debuggers.
- Practical hands-on experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) system testing, troubleshooting complex integrated systems, and working directly with standard vehicle networking protocols including CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Technical ability to safely validate diagnostic IDs, vehicle faults, structural routines, and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for final software production releases.
- Proficient English communication skills. Ambitious, self-driven mindset comfortable adapting to technical ambiguity across cross-functional engineering segments.
